Job Summary:
We are seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our growing healthcare team. The RRT will be responsible for providing respiratory therapy services to patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions. This individual will work closely with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and educate patients on how to manage their conditions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform diagnostic tests to assess respiratory function
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and adjust mechanical ventilation settings for patients in the intensive care unit
- Educate patients on how to use various respiratory devices and techniques
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
Qualifications and Skills:
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
-BLS, ACLS, PALS REQUIRED
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience working with patients of all ages and backgrounds
